Ornamental Features:  Rose red flowers in the spring mature into small, hairy nut-like ornamental fruit attracting wildlife in the fall.  Foliage is slender and green throughout the season turning scarlet in the fall. 

Landscape Attributes: Very hardy flowering shrub. Low maintenance; flowers occur on the previous years growth, prune only after they bloom.
